Loser-Pays Now A Texas Law

Texas Governor, Rick Perry, has signed new legislation loosely refered to as the "loser-pays" rule. The legislation is designed to allow meritless lawsuits to be dismissed early in the litigation process and to award attorney's fees and costs to certain defendants.
